i just reached home from an outing with my darling cousins.
Arina called me just now whilst i was in the midst of sending off my sis and she insisted that i meet saihah and her at heeren. i was like okok i'll go. but i arrived late(obviously! she called me at 1+ asking me to meet her at 2.30) well i arrived almost 3 cuz i had to get my hair ready plus it was raining so i took a bus since i was lazy to walk. i LOVE my hair. haha. have to thank kason for that.
anyway, we ended up going to NYDC to eat. oh and i'm very proud to say that i now know what it means! NYDC stands for New York Dessert Cafe! WOOTZ! haha. so we sat there like forever eating dessret which cost a bomb! oh n btw, i'm officially broke! i hv so little money left n i have to spend at the fashion show tmr! yikes!
i have a very interesting question, who labels who an elitist? how do we decide on who is the elitist? as arina was commenting that as an elitist i shouldn't be too ignorant of certain issues. i have never really considered myself an elitist. but the main thing is, how do you know an elitist? obviously if your in a top school and you say that your not an elite then you deserve a big slap. but for the others, i guess its just the way you think and act. you have to portray a sense of class and must know your moral obligations to society.
oh n we also discussed about our malay community and we agreed that there was something wrong with the system. after all whenever we seem to be taking a step forward(which takes forever since we are slow) we seem to take two steps back. its so sad really.
